Park Glen Scholarship

The Park Glen Neighborhood Association is proud to offer scholarships to students in our community. Each year, the PGNA Scholarship Program recognizes students who have demonstrated academic success, leadership, and volunteer and extracurricular involvement.

Scholarship Details

Multiple scholarships of $500 or more will be awarded for undergraduate or graduate study in the fall 2026 semester. The number and amount of each scholarship will depend on the total number of awards given.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a registered Park Glen homeowner or a dependent who receives more than half of his or her support from a Park Glen homeowner.
  • The relevant homeowner must be a PGNA member in good standing at the time of application and at the time of payment.
  • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or 80%) or higher.
  • Applicant must have been active in school and/or community activities with demonstrated leadership and involvement.
  • Applicant must be registered or planning to register at an accredited college, university, or trade school for fall 2026.

How to Apply

A complete application package includes:

  1. Completed 3-page application form, signed by the applicant, Park Glen homeowner, and parent or guardian (if applicant is under 18)
  2. Applicant statement (one to two paragraphs)
  3. Two recent letters of recommendation
  4. Copy of the most recent official cumulative high school or college transcript

  • July 21, 2026 — Scholarship winners recognized at PGNA Board Meeting

Applications can be submitted by email or delivered in person:

Mailed applications must be postmarked by June 1 and received by June 5. In-person applications should be sealed in an envelope and deposited in the NMI office or drop box.
