We’re excited to announce the 2025 Park Glen Neighborhood Association Board Election! This is your opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of our community.

🗳 Candidate Filing is OPEN: June 16 – July 10

Current Candidates

Homeowners interested in serving on the Board of Directors may file to run for one of the following positions:

    • President

    • Vice-President

    • Secretary

    • Director (1 of 4 positions)

📅 Important Dates
    • July 10 – Deadline to submit your Candidate Filing Form

    • July 15 – Candidate Meet & Greet

    • By July 30 – Voting materials mailed to homeowners

    • July 30 – Sept 2 – Advance Voting Period

    • August 19 – Last day to request a paper ballot

    • September 2 – Annual Meeting & In-Person Voting (results announced if quorum is met)

Yard of the Month Contest

Judging for this summer’s Yard of the Month Contest will take place on the following dates:

  • July 5–8

  • August 2–5

Judging is based on overall yard attractiveness and compliance with deed restrictions and community standards. To be eligible, properties must have no open violations and no outstanding account balances. Last year’s winners are not eligible.

We need volunteers to help judge villages other than their own.

Annual Dues

Park Glen’s fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30. Statements for annual dues will be mailed out shortly after October 1. Payment of the annual assessment amount and any unpaid previous amounts will be late if not RECEIVED by November 1.

The Annual Meeting will be in person only at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Homeowners can vote:

– electronically (online) by 7:30 pm on September 10, 2024
– by mail (must be received in the YesElections office by 12 noon on September 10, 2024
– by proxy (deadline to request a paper prox is August 23, 2024)
– via ballot drop-off box by September 10, 2024 at 6 pm, located outside of Neighborhood Management’s (NMI) office at 5421             Basswood Blvd, Suite 710 (2 doors down from Premier Eye Care)
– or in-person at the September 10, 2024 Annual Meeting from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Will you hold a Block Party for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1st?

The purpose of the National Night Out (NNO) block parties is for neighbors to get to know one another better and encourage neighbors to look out for one another to reduce crime.  It’s fun and easier than you may think! The Association will even pay up to $75 for the first 40 registered block parties for block party expenses, such as for food, non-alcoholic beverages, supplies (paper products, signage,
decorations, and other similar items), and rentals, if you register your block party by 5 pm September 23rd with PGNA by emailing PGNA NNO Coordinator Melissa Medici  at:

Halloween /Harvest Decorating Contest

(volunteer judges needed)

October 19-24

Judging is to take place anytime between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. each night, based on curb appeal as viewed from the street only. The primary factor will be overall presentation (wow factor), but judges may also consider uniqueness & creativity, storyline or theme, and neatness & organization.

At this Annual Meeting, the election of Board members will be held. All Park Glen Homeowners are welcome to attend.

By August 9th, Yes Elections, the company hired by PGNA to run it’s election, will send each Park Glen homeowner, via the US Post, instructions on the many ways how to vote in the election along with meeting location details.

Assemble at 9:00 a.m. on the tennis courts at Arcadia Park #4, 4850 Glen Springs Trl., to participate in the competition and march in the parade. The contest judging for kids  will start from 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Parade will occur from 9:35 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

The PID6 Fireworks Event will take place in Arcadia Park #2, which is situated at 8301 Island Park Drive, on July 1st, beginning at 7:00 p.m. There will be a live band, food trucks, balloon artist,  face painters, and more at 7:00pm. Fireworks start at about 9:15 p.m. Please contact PID6 Manager Lillian Collins via email if you have any questions.

Consider running for the Planned Improvement District #6 (PID6) Board if you reside in Districts 2, 4, and 6. In August 2023, PID6 will hold elections for Districts 2, 4, and 6. PID6 Annual Meeting is on August 24th at 6:30pm. Meanwhile, Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7 will be up for the election in August 2024. Any homeowner in these districts is eligible to be a candidate for the election.

Free Shredding Event

PGNA Shredding Event

Saturday, April 27, 2024 9am to 11am

New Location this year:  Alliance Methodist Church, 7904 Park Vista Blvd.

Shredding will be done onsite via a professional Shredding Truck. Bring your personal papers to be shredded (open to Park Glen residents and homeowners, at no cost). Please put items in trunk or truck bed or put items outside of vehicle, so a volunteer can retrieve them.

The 2024 Scholarship Program has been set, and the Application and Guidelines are now available HERE.  But, please do not submit an application until May 1.

The Park Glen Neighborhood Association has authorized the Scholarship Program to recognize, reward, and develop members of our neighborhood and their dependents who have exhibited commendable academic success, leadership, and volunteer & extracurricular involvement.  A number of scholarships of $500 or more will be awarded for undergraduate study, graduate study, or trade school in the upcoming fall semester, funded by the profits of the 2023 Turkey Trot. The program is not just for graduating high school seniors.  Please review the application and guidelines for complete information, and direct any questions to the Scholarship Coordinator Julie Grove at PGNAScholarship@gmail.com.
