Park Glen had an extraordinary night at the Mayor's Community Engagement Neighborhood Awards ceremony on Saturday, March 7, winning three category awards and earning two runner-up honors.
The Mayor's Neighborhood Awards are Fort Worth's highest honor for neighborhood associations. Neighborhoods from across the city compete in categories judged on community impact, innovation, volunteerism, and partnership. Winning three category awards and earning two runner-up honors, including Neighborhood of the Year, which recognizes the top overall performer, is an exceptional achievement that reflects years of dedication and community collaboration.
Behind every award is a neighbor who showed up. These honors belong to the people who make Park Glen what it is: the volunteers who staffed the Turkey Trot year after year, the families who opened their homes for National Night Out, the Scholarship Selection Committee members who reviewed applications with such care, the Village Captains who kept our neighborhood connected, and every homeowner who came out, pitched in, or simply participated.
Fort Worth has officially recognized what we already know: Park Glen is special because of the people who live here.
