To maintain Park Glen’s safety, attractiveness, and community, the annual assessment will be $110 per year, effective October 1, 2025. This is the only increase in over 30 years and remains under $10 per month. Below are answers to questions regarding the upcoming increase to the annual assessment.

Please read the following message from the Park Glen Neighborhood Board.

Letter to Park Glen Homeowners

The annual assessment changes from $66 to $110 per year effective October 1, 2025.

The new rate begins October 1, 2025, with your annual billing.

The annual assessment will be adjusted from $66 to $110 per year.

About $9.17 per month. The increase equals about $3.67 per month.

After maintaining the same $66 annual rate for over 30 years, rising costs and community needs require an adjustment to $110 annually.

This change allows us continue sidewalk and mailbox maintenance, restore community programs, host neighborhood events, rebuild reserve funds for long‑term stability, and cover rising costs such as insurance and essential operations.

This ensures we can continue providing the services and programs that make Park Glen special.

This is the first time the assessment has changed since 1990—more than three decades without an increase. Over this time, costs for essential services have risen. This adjustment is necessary to meet current expenses and invest in our community’s future.

Yes. This is the first increase in over 30 years.

At less than $10/month, Park Glen remains among the most affordable HOAs in our area, especially considering our amenities and programs.

The funds from the assessment are critical for protecting our neighborhood’s value and supporting our community spirit. They are allocated to several key areas:

  • Ongoing maintenance of sidewalks and mailboxes to keep our neighborhood safe and attractive.

  • The return of programs such as the Welcome Wagon and Village Captains.

  • Funding for neighborhood events, including annual favorites like Holiday in the Park and Eggstravganza.

  • Rebuilding reserve funds to ensure our long-term financial stability and prepare for future projects.

  • Covering rising expenses, such as significantly increased insurance and other essential operations.

The PGNA Board of Directors is committed to transparency. The board carefully evaluated costs and community needs and discussed the change publicly before approving the update.
